Obituary

Violet G. Guinivan, 86, of McAlisterville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 6, 2020, at Epworth Manor Senior Living Center, in Tyrone, Pa.
Born January 4, 1934, in Paintersville, she was the daughter of the late Franklin P. and Mary Grace (Price) Druckenmiller. Her husband, Ralph A. Guinivan survives.
Violet is survived by her children; Martin E. "Jake" Druckemiller Jr. and wife Kimbra, of Mifflintown, Daniel M. Druckemiller and wife Kimbra, of Lewistown, Steven Druckemiller and wife Kathryn, of Seneca, Brian E. Druckemiller and wife Tracy, of Milroy.
Violet was preceded in death by a half-brother Dr. Charles D. Connors, and half-sisters; Alice Carter and Nettie Stambaugh.
She is survived by her sister Doris "Dorie" Morrison and husband Joseph of Surprise, AZ, and brothers; Walter F. Druckenmiller of Oklahoma and Blair E. Druckenmiller and wife Nancy, of Lewistown.
In her early years she was employed by Fisher Electronics. Later she was employed by the 3M Corporation and Owens Brockway in New Jersey. She retired from Empire Kosher.
She had 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Violet loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved camping, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. She followed the Remington Ryde band and loved singing along with all the blue grass and gospel bands.
Violet was a Lutheran by faith.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home Inc. & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
