Obituary

Shirley D. Moyer, 87, of Milroy, passed away on Sunday May 17, 2020 at Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.
Born November 16, 1932 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mertie (Rheam) Ritter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard H. “Rick” Moyer, and siblings, Russell Ritter, Hazel Smith, Raymond Ritter, Helen Pritchard, Franny Graves, and Dottie Engershole.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Pamela Aaby and husband Anthony, of College Place, WA, and Jeffrey Moyer and wife Cathy, of Milroy; Grandchildren, Mikko Aaby, of OR, Andra Winslow, and husband Eric, of Wash., Angela Searer and husband Adam, of McVeytown; Great-Grandchildren, Emily and Brandon Boyd.
Shirley attended of The Seventh Day Adventist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed her flowers, feeding birds, spending time in her garden, and cooking for her church and her family. Most of all, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Per Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1020 West 5th Street, Lewistown PA 17044.
