Obituary

Scott Steven Mogel passed into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 19, 2020 as a result of a tractor-trailer accident. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on Friday February 19, 1971 to Bill and Barb Mogel.
Scott attended Erie schools. Later he studied at the College of Allied Educators, Georgia Southwestern College, The University of Phoenix and Central Career and Technical School.
Scott was the founder and owner of Tip Top Resources LLC in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. He was very proud of his business. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to whatever he did. He drove truck for many years, most recently for Boring Transport Inc. of Belleville, PA. Scott became very active with The Chief Logan Fire Department earlier this year.
Scott was known for his kindness and compassion. He was willing to help anyone in need. He made friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth of Erie, a son, William of Ashtabula, Ohio, a sister, Lynn of Michigan, his fiancé and business partner, Ellen Cummings, and her children, Julie and Jacob.
A memorial service in loving memory of Scott will be held at noon on Saturday October 31, 2020 at New Life Church, 101 N Beech Street, Burnham PA 17009. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Arrangements are under the care of The King-Barr Funeral Home LLC & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Scott Mogel Memorial Fund at: The Chief Logan Fire Department, 1800 Glenwood Ave, Lewistown PA 17044.
