Obituary

Nancy J. Snook, 90, formerly of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2019 at Elmcroft of Reedsville.
Born May 25, 1929, in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Irene (James) Goodwin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold E. Snook, on July 20, 2003, whom she married on April 14, 1949.
Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela (Snook) Hafer and her husband Donald, of Sayre, Pa, 3 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Nancy was a very active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lewistown.
Earlier in life, Nancy was employed at the Lewistown Trust Company, and later at Penn State University in The College of Human Development, in the accounting office.
Per the family’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Grace United Methodist Church, 101 Logan Street, Lewistown, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 1104 Fernwood Ave, Suite 301, Camp Hill PA 17011, or 365 Hospice, 220 Regent Ct, State College, PA 16801
Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
