Marygrace Dalby McMinn (Richard), 80, formerly of Lewistown, peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Harrisburg.
Born January 7, 1940 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary (Baker) Dalby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Dalby, Janette Dillman, and Eddy Dalby, her first husband, Francis E. ‘Fran’ McMinn in 2003, and her second husband, Carl R. ‘Butch’ Richard in 2019.
She is survived by her loving children, Christine DeArment and husband Mark, of Lewistown, and Danelle McMinn, of Harrisburg; Grandchildren, Trevor Yohn and fiancé Jess Hummel, of Burnham, and Jordan Yohn and wife Whitney, of Milroy; and Great-Grandchildren, Hailie Jo Marie Yohn, Treyson Scott Yohn, and Emmitt Michael Yohn.
Marygrace was first employed at Fisher’s Electronics, and later was employed at The Lewistown Pepsi Plant for 25 years. Finally, she retired from Benfer’s Furniture in 2011. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
A funeral service in loving memory of Marygrace will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 6, 2020 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Rev. Teresa Fink to officiate. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday July 5 at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
