Obituary

Mary A. Schiech, 73, of Lewistown, passed away on July 3, 2020 at Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.
Born February 15, 1947 in Philadelphia, she was the son of the late Frank and Laura (Bonar) Bondiskey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Latorre, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, David B. Schiech, whom she married on June 21, 1986; Children, Frank Weber, of Lewistown, and Bill Howarth, of New Jersey; Grandchildren, Jesse Weber, Magaly Latorre, Sarah Weber, and Frank Weber; and Great-Grandchildren, Jaylen Weber, Aaliyah Latorre, and Anae Latorre.
Mary was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown.
In her free time, she enjoyed word searches, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her family so much.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home Inc. & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N Dorcas Street, Lewistown, or ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 387 E South St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
