Obituary for Manuela S. "Cuchy" Traxler

Manuela S. “Cuchy” Traxler, 85, formerly of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2020 at Locust Grove Retirement Village.
Born April 27, 1935 in Madrid, Spain, she was the daughter of the late Angel Sebastian Estebaranz and Manuela Gonzalez Sanchez. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul E. Traxler, and a brother, Angelito Sebastian Gonzalez.
Manuela is survived by her loving daughters: Patty Druckenmiller and husband Ken of Millerstown, and Jackie Goss of Thompsontown. Grandchildren; Kenny Druckenmiller, Paul Druckenmiller and wife Richie, Eric Druckenmiller, Jarrod Goss, and Kyle Goss, Great-Grandchildren; Conner Shellenberger, Adaline Druckenmiller, and Liam Druckenmiller; and sisters, Marily Mills and husband Bill, and Paloma Goede, both of San Antonio Texas.
Manuela was employed at Russell National Bank for many years as a Teller. She was an active member of The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown, and a member of The St. Vincent DePaul Society. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, Manuela will be remembered by her kindness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 13, 2020 at The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N Dorcas Street, Lewistown, with Father Jayaseelan Amalanathan to officiate. A viewing will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday November 12, 2020 at The King-Barr Funeral Home LLC & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.

Manuella’s family would like to thank the nurses and aides of the 200 hall at Locust Grove Retirement Village for their compassion, and the great care that they provided their mother.
