If there was a concert, recital, musical event of any type, Loyce was there. She supported all music in mifflin County with her attendance and appreciation for the performers with an encouraging word. She will be missed.

Rick, Rodney, Randy and families, I'm sorry to read about your mom's passing, but what a blessing for her to live such a long life! I'm having many flashbacks of time spent at your house and of your mom...ironing in the basement while watching her soaps, hanging out with Rusty, sunbathing in the yard, sharing the best hot cocoa and toast with me on Saturday mornings, driving her Oldsmobile and taking Rick & me to the Burnham pool, mowing her lawn with the reel mower and almost cutting her big toe off, singing in the church choir...I always enjoyed her happy spirit and energy. I feel lucky and thankful to have known her. She was a very special lady. Please accept my condolences. Martha Hamilton Sherman
