Joe was a good friend, fellow hellyon. Joe was one of last of the bunch. One saturday morning Joe, Gary Stout, and myself(Art Sellers) where on the river, in Sam's boat, when Joe saw a big fish surface. Sam grabbed a an oar and hit the fish. I reached in and pulled it out. We took the thing up to W.5th St and showed it off. My mother called the news paper. The photographer showed up and took some pictures. We made the news on Monday and Tuesday in the Harrisburg Patriot.
Joe was quit the "ELVIS" fan. He was al things "ELVIS" and was a big collector of his "45,s" and albums.
Sorry to see Joe is gone but he knew how to make friends so he be ok.
