Obituary

Jeffery D. Glendye of Lewistown, passed away September 29, 2019 at his residence.
Born November 7, 1955 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Edward R. “Red” Glendye and Huldah R. “Huddie” Glendye.
Jeff is survived by his daughters, Sarah E. Glendye, Molly A. Glendye and his ex-wife, Lynn McLaughlin Glendye of York.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Glendye.
Jeff was a graduate of Chief Logan High School and West Liberty University. He came back to his hometown , to return to his passion of painting and restoring the community he loved.
His enthusiasm for life was one of his greatest qualities, always wanting to share the joy he found in living with those around him . He will be remembered for his kindness and positivity by all who knew him.
He was a faithful member of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service in loving memory of Jeff will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3 , 2019 at the Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E. Third Street, Lewistown with Pastor Robert Zorn officiating.
There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
