James W. Renninger, Jr., 83, of Lewistown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at The Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence in Harrisburg.
Born February 20, 1937 in Mifflin County, he was the son of the late James, Sr. and Thelma (Ranck) Renninger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Cutler) Renninger.
Jimmy is survived by his loving children: Betsey Lerch and husband Tom, of New Cumberland and Karen McLaughlin and husband Randy, of Enola, a sister, Joanne Stuck and husband James, of Brooksville, FL, Grandchildren, Adam Lerch and wife Susan, Rachel Lerch, and a Great-Grandson, Benjamin Lerch.
He was employed at Frey Motors as a mechanic from 1952-1979 and at Lash Motors as mechanic and service manager until his retirement in 2010.
Jimmy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Kitchen Committee, Administrative Council, and served as a trustee.
A private graveside service will be held at Juniata Memorial Park with Rev. Richard Williams to officiate.
Arrangements are under the care of The King-Barr Funeral Home LLC & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
