Obituary

James M. Bell, 92 of 522 North, Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his residence.
Born January 5, 1928 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William K. Bell, Sr. and Helen (Laub) Bell.
Jim is survived by his wife, Patricia (Freed) Bell whom he married on March 14, 1953; his son, James R. “Joe” Bell and wife Cheryl of McClure; a brother, Charles E. Bell of Lewistown and sisters-in-law, Joyce L. Bell and Norma J. Kearns.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy and wife Lynn and Nathan and wife Amanda; great grandchildren, Leah, Easton, Sawyer, Owen and Brayden and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Brady, Walter Bell and W.K. Bell, Jr. and a sister, Nancy Dubendorf.
Jim was the owner/operator of Freed and Bell Well Drilling.
He was a member of the East Derry Fire Company and a member of the NRA.
Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing and looking for deer with his grandkids. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev. Jeanine Leister officiating. Interment will be in Maitland Cemetery.
There will be a time of visitation with the family Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
