Gladys E. McMullen, 96, peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 13, 2020. She was born on January 30, 1924, to Charles and Alice (Yeater) Stein.
On March 27, 1948, Gladys was married to Robert “Butch” McMullen who passed away in 1999.
Gladys was also preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a daughter, Terry McMullen, who died in 1953.
Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy(Debra) McMullen, Ken(Georgeann) McMullen, Kelly McMullen and Molly(Robert) Boring. She will also be fondly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Earlier in life, she was employed by American Viscose Corporation, and made delicious pies for Reds Diner. Primarily being a homemaker, she filled her home with many canned items from her garden.
Gladys was a member of Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church. She was always grateful for the visits from Pastor Ken Grove, Donna Goss and other friends.
A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on October 15, 2020 at The King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. A funeral service will be held at
11: 00 a.m. on Friday October 16, 2020 at Fergusson Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 8451 Ferguson Valley Rd, McVeytown, PA 17051 with Rev. Ken Grove to officiate.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church.

My sincerest sympathies to you on the loss of your mother. I remember her as being a strong advocate for children in our community. Remember the time she had them stop the overcrowding on our school bus? I do!
