Obituary

Gerald L. McElhenny, 76, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday November 14, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center- Danville.
Born December 12, 1943 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Gerald and Ruth (Shreffler) McElhenny. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, John and James McElhenny.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Olson) McElhenny, whom he married on May 22, 1993; and a sister, Alice Headings, of Washington.
Gerald was employed as a truck driver for various companies within the area for years.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
There will be no services.
Arrangements are under the care of The King-Barr Funeral Home LLC & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gerald’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Valley View Haven Retirement Community, 4702 E Main St, Belleville PA 17004.

We extend our deepest sympathy to all the family. I enjoyed many happy times with Jerry. I'm sure all the folks at the Milroy Pilgrim Holiness Church extend this as well. May you feel the arms of God round about you.

You have our deepest condolences and sympathies. We were so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. I will always have memories of you two together in Church and seeing Gerry's smile during the time of fellowship. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met gerald at his brother jim's I stayed with jim and barb for awhile I also worked with gerald at ucp great man wonderful to work with
