. Duilio E. Valdivia, 81, of Lewistown passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Born May 9, 1939 in Peru, he was the son of the late Aurelia and Jesus Valdivia. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Francisco and Isabel.
Duilio is survived by his wife, Cindy, his children, Nicolas Valdivia and wife Suzannah, Natalie Valdivia and fiancé Victor Visciani and Lauren Valdivia, his granddaughter, Lupe Stitt, his siblings, Hugo, Ruth and Luisa and extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Duilio attended medical school in Arequipa, Peru and completed fellowships in Oncology/Hematology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He has been in private practice in Lewistown, PA since 1979.
Duilio enjoyed spending time with family, mentoring medical students, gardening, traveling and Peruvian food and culture.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
