Donald E. Staley, 87, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 21, 2020 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born March 15, 1933 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William and Freda (Peck) Staley.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Pauline Yoder, Elwood Staley, Gladys Dickson, James Staley and Doris Staley.
Donald is survived by his wife, Marsha (Stydinger) Staley; Children, Eileen Parsons and husband Clyde, Donald Staley, Jr., Jonathan Staley and wife Kathy, Rebecca Krepps and husband Kenny, Brian Staley and wife Laurie and Jason Staley; Siblings surviving: Jean Boozel and husband Richard, and Brabara Seaholtz, and 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren
Earlier in life, Donald was a member of the Mount Union VFW Post 5754. He cherished time spent with his family, and also enjoyed deer hunting, gardening and railroading. He spent many days attending local flea markets and auctions.
A private funeral service will be held at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev. Darvin Donahey officiating.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
