Obituary

Darla J. Adams, 61, of Lewistown, passed away at 8:53 a.m. on Thursday November 19, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center- Danville.
Born February 13, 1959 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late George and Betty (Grove) Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Adams, who passed away on December 26, 2019.
Darla is survived by her loving children, Nathan Adams and wife Julie, of Fort Wayne, IN, and Alyshia Adams, of Lewistown; sisters, Connie Huff, of Mifflintown, Kathy Hassinger and husband Ralph, of Strodes Mills, and Georgia Cramer and husband Merril, of Lewistown; and grandchildren, Blake and Kylie Adams.
Darla was a member of Pine Glen Alliance Church.
She loved crafting, and most of all spending time with her beloved family.
A graveside service in loving memory of Darla will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 Us Hwy 522 S, Lewistown PA 17044 with Pastor Daniel Stegeman officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of The King-Barr Funeral Home LLC & Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Darla’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Pine Glen Alliance Church, 1058 SR-103 N, Lewistown, PA 17044.

I am sorry for your loss. Darla was in my class in school
She always sat in front of me in homeroom. We were friends, and later found out that her mom and my mom were cousins. She was always a very sweet girl. I haven't seen her in a while, but I did think of her and hoped for the best for her. I see that she had a nice family and was blessed to also have grandchildren. I am saddened that she has passed.
