Obituary

Craig A. Dooley ,66, of S. Pine Street, Lewistown, died May 27, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born April 28, 1953, in Sunbury. He was the son of the late Edward Dooley, Sr and Mary Lou Bonner. He was also preceded by a nephew, Scott Dooley.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Sweeney Dooley. Also surviving are children: Jamie Shriver of Northumberland, Amy Simonetti and companion Doug Weaver, Lewistown, Keri Dooley Bahner and husband Jeff, of Colorado, Laura Dooley Robinson and husband Ian of Maryland and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his siblings: Edward E. Dooley, Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Sunbury, Patricia Costa, of Sunbury, Kathleen Persing and husband David, of Sunbury and Steven Dooley and wife, Kim, of Sunbury
He was employed by Wood Mode for 29 years, Mouser Cabinetry in Kentucky, Drayer Cabinets in Quakertown, Joe Krentzman and Son and buying and selling scrap, retiring in 2016.
His favorite pastime besides being retried, was going to the City Hook and ladder where he was an officer and enjoyed hanging out with other retirees he called “the Old Guys”
Per his wishes, all services will be private.
Barr Funeral Home, Inc and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Craig and I had most of our classes together from 9th through 12th grade because we were in the German sections. I will never forget him. He was a great friend in high school and I wish I would have stayed in touch with him after graduation. I always looked up to him and thought he was the King of Cool. Really saddened by his passing.
