Charles Eugene “Chas” Stull, 72 of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born July 4, 1947 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Herbert E. and Kathryn (Brunett) Stull.
Charles is survived by his wife, Madeline (Flickinger) Stull; his children, Charles Stull of Reading; Heather Weader and husband James of McAlisterville; step-children, Michael Allen and wife Terre of Colorado; Lori Allen of Lewistown; Stephanie Peachey and husband Robert of Lewistown; Grandchildren; Kyle Yorks, Chase Yorks, Isabelle Stull, Jonah Stull and Savannah Allen.
He is also survived by his siblings, Herbert Stull of Lewistown; Larry Stull of Lewistown; Delores McGowan of Lewistown and Karen Barber and husband Robert of Lancaster and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Stull and Jack Stull and an infant sister, Lena Stull.
He was a graduate of Lewistown High School Class of 1965.
Charles was employed by Standard Steel and retired from The Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Lab.
Charles was an avid fisherman and hunter of deer, wild turkeys, elk and morel mushrooms. His travels took him to the Rocky Mountains and Northeastern Appalachian Mountains from Virginia to New York. He also enjoyed crafting furniture for friends and family. He especially loved spending time with his many good friends; he loved his family, his neighbors and his retrievers.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, services will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles memory can be made to American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin Street, State College, PA 16803 or Rescue Our Furry Friends, 133 North Walnut Street, Burnham, PA 17009.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.

My condolences to the family. I graduated with Chas and had the pleasure to be around him
many times. Remember the time we went to the corvette show with another of his friends Al Coudriet.
