On behalf of the members of the USS BENNINGTON P.A.C.T., please accept our condolences on the passing of your loved one. We thank you for Blair’s service to God & Country as well. Please know that officer Echard shall be remembered at our annual memorial wreath laying ceremony, at our actual ship’s bell monument in August (Bennington, VT) where Blair’s name shall be read from a listing of “Those Who Have Gone Before Us” and the bell shall toll in his memory. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the family during these difficult times....

With my deepest sympathy,
Joseph Pires, USS BENNINGTON Historian
